Description
The RB2509 is a 25mm ratchet buckle designed for 25mm webbing. It has a breaking strength (BS) of 900Kg. The ratchet buckle is a non-locking ratchet and has a pressed steel handle. The base of the ratchet has a 6.8mm hole and a solid riveted pin instead of a nut and bolt.
The ratchet meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the buckle to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 450daN. This capacity is stamped on the ratchet together with the suppliers name and part number for full traceability. The breaking strength (BS) of 900Kg is also shown to indicate the maximum load that can be applied to the buckle before failure.
