We had such a fantastic time at last night’s in-Cumbria Business Awards. The entertainment and food were excellent, as was the venue itself at The Halston in Carlisle.
We were shortlisted in the Family Business of the Year category and were so honoured to win! Stuart, Alastair, Lisa, Brandon, and India all attended on the evening and received the award together on stage.

Our parents started the business over fifty years ago, back in 1968 and to we’re really proud of the growth we’ve seen over the years. Our family background means so much to us and to be able to celebrate it in the presence of so many fantastic local businesses was incredible!
We would like to thank each and every one of our team members at K&S McKenzie who all play such an important role in us being the business we are today. We also want to thank the team at the in-Cumbria Business Awards, the judges, and everyone involved in putting on such a fun, entertaining, and well-organised event.
We also want to offer HUGE congratulations to everyone who was shortlisted or won an award last night. It was truly inspiring to be in a room amongst so many incredible local businesses.
