The introduction of Euro IV regulation in 2005 saw the emissions limits dramatically reduced for heavy-duty trucks. To meet these stringent standards without compromising engine performance, many engine manufacturers have adopted Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology using AdBlue.
