Last night we attended the Cumbria Family Business Awards – and had a truly brilliant evening! Even though we didn’t win an award, we were honoured to not only be finalists in the Retailers and Wholesalers category, but also to have our very own Brandon McKenzie shortlisted for Family Business Employee of the Year.
The event itself was fantastic. Not only was the venue – Low Wood Bay Resort, Windermere – beautiful but the food was wonderful. Entertainment for the evening was top-notch too and with The Hairy Bikers (aka Simon “Si” King and David Myers) as comperes who could expect anything less?!
We would like to thank the team at Cumbria Family Business Awards, Low Wood Bay Resort, the judges, and everyone involved in putting on such a fun, entertaining and well organised event.
We also want to offer HUGE congratulations to everyone who won an award last night. It was truly fantastic to be in a room amongst so many incredible Cumbrian family businesses.
